Carbon Fiber Strapping and Reinforcement
There are many times that a wall has failed due to external pressure, poor moisture mitigation or age, sometimes to the point of complete failure. One option available is FRP; fiber reinforced plastics come in all shapes and sizes. In residential and small commercial settings, most often we use a 4″ or 12″ wide, carbon fiber or kevlar strap to provide lateral support the same way a brace does. The advantage to the FRP is that it has a very low profile and is applied very quickly.
Colorado Structural Repair gladly offer a limited lifetime warranty on all of our FRP work.
